Which universities require the LNAT in 2026?

University of Oxford
Oxford uses the LNAT as a core part of its law admissions process. The typical score for successful applicants is 28 or above. LNAT deadline: 15th October.
University College London (UCL)
UCL uses the LNAT alongside predicted grades and your personal statement. Typical successful applicants score 26 or above. LNAT deadline: 20th January.
Durham University
Durham uses the LNAT to help shortlist candidates for interview. Typical scores for successful applicants are around 25 or above. LNAT deadline: 20th January.
University of Bristol
Bristol uses the LNAT as part of its holistic admissions review. Typical scores are around 24-25. LNAT deadline: 20th January.
King’s College London (KCL)
KCL uses the LNAT as part of its admissions process for the LLB. Typical scores are around 24 or above. LNAT deadline: 20th January.
University of Nottingham
Nottingham uses the LNAT for its LLB programme. LNAT deadline: 20th January.

National University of Singapore (NUS) – via LNAT
NUS accepts the LNAT as part of its law admissions process for international applicants.
Key registration dates
LNAT registration opens on 1st August each year. If you are applying to Oxford, you must sit the LNAT by 15th October – this is a hard deadline. For all other universities on the list, your LNAT must be completed by 20th January.
