What is the LNAT, and why does it matter?
The Law National Aptitude Test (LNAT) is a two-hour exam required by top UK law schools including Oxford, UCL, Durham, Bristol, King's College London, and Nottingham. It tests critical thinking and verbal reasoning - not legal knowledge.
Your LNAT score forms a significant part of your application. At competitive universities like Oxford, a score below 28 out of 42 can effectively rule out an offer - regardless of your A-level grades.
That's why practising with papers that genuinely match the real exam is so important. Generic comprehension tests won't prepare you for the LNAT's specific style of argumentation and inference.
